Wedding! Alli + Ben [The Good Earth Food & Wine Co.]

There is something pretty special about a wedding that feels like one big family gathering. The kind where everyone knows everyone, the setting feels like home and the entire day is focused on celebrating two people who are absolutely crazy about each other.

Alli and Ben's wedding was exactly that. 💛

Their day began in the backyard of Ben's sister Heather's home, where they exchanged vows surrounded by the people they love most. There is something so meaningful about getting married in a place that already holds family memories. No elaborate venue needed, just a beautiful backyard, their favourite people and a whole lot of love.

And honestly? Backyard weddings have my heart.

From Backyard Vows to Vineyard Views

After their intimate backyard ceremony, the celebrations continued at The Good Earth Food and Wine in Beamsville, Ontario, where Alli and Ben hosted their reception in the Tasting Room.

Nestled in the heart of Niagara's wine country, The Good Earth is one of those places that feels effortlessly inviting. With its beautiful surroundings, incredible food and welcoming atmosphere, it was the perfect setting for Alli and Ben to celebrate their marriage.

The Tasting Room offered a warm and intimate space for their reception, bringing together everything that makes a smaller wedding celebration so special: good food, good wine and even better company.

Also: THE GROUNDS, Y’ALL. They are not playing.

Special mention for the FOOD. Omg. They truly outdid themselves. A special mention for Ben’s special request for his wedding day dinner: a simple burger.

A Wedding Day That Felt Like Them

One of my favourite things about photographing weddings is seeing how couples make their day their own.

For Alli and Ben, that meant exchanging vows in a family backyard before heading into Niagara wine country to celebrate. Two beautiful locations, one incredible day and a wedding that was entirely their own. Their celebration was a lovely reminder that your wedding doesn't need to follow a particular formula. Whether you're planning a big celebration or something a little more intimate, the most important thing is creating a day that feels right for the two of you.
