What. A. DAY! Brooke and Mike’s wedding at Maple Meadows Farm and Event Center was one for the books!!! Beautiful weather, STUNNING bride and groom, amazing food and venue - what more can you ask for?

As I arrived at the bridal prep area, the music was blasing and the energy was palpable: our girl Brooke is getting hitched!

You’ll see many photos of sweet Arlo sprinkled in this blog post… how can I resist? LOOK AT HER.

The day began with anticipation as Brooke and Mike opted for a First Look in the enchanting garden. As Brooke approached Mike from behind, the garden seemed to hold its breath, only to burst into applause when he turned around, his eyes brimming with emotion. The quiet beauty of that moment set the tone for the rest of their special day.

Brooke and Mike exchanged heartfelt vows under the canopy of a magnificent tree. It was a scene straight out of a storybook, with nature adding its own blessing to their union.

Following the ceremony, guests made their way to the rustic barn for the reception. The barn, adorned with twinkling lights and wildflowers, echoed with joyous conversations and the clinking of glasses. The newlyweds shared their first dance under the warm glow of fairy lights, surrounded by loved ones who had traveled far and wide to celebrate their love.

The evening unfolded with laughter and heartfelt toasts and dances, each one a testament to the love and admiration shared between Brooke and Mike. The barn reverberated with the sounds of happiness as guests enjoyed a delicious farm-to-table meal, complete with locally sourced delicacies that left everyone craving seconds.

As the night drew to a close, Brooke and Mike stole a quiet moment to gaze at the setting sun, reflecting on the whirlwind of emotions that their wedding day had brought. Maple Meadows Farm had not just been a venue—it had become a part of their love story, forever etched in their hearts.

I often become really close with my clients and consider them friends by the end of their session. With Sam, things went the other way around as I’m lucky enough to be her friend first and her photographer second! :D Being friends first allowed me to watch her grow as a person and grow her family with John and I’m thrilled to present their wedding gallery to them.

When I arrived to the Barracks Inn, I was taken aback at how chill the vibe was. Everyone was excited but laid back and everything was on schedule. Those who have been married know that it’s often a very exciting but chaotic time. Not for Sam - her easygoing nature set the tone for such a cool and chill day!

The groom and groomsmen were just as chill and even little Xavier was in party mode already. Again, at this point I’m wondering if I’ve stumbled onto some kind of alternate reality wedding where everything is super chill???

Picture-perfect doesn't even begin to describe the backdrop at Ancaster Mill. Tucked away in Ontario's countryside, it was the dreamiest spot for Sam and John to tie the knot. Every corner seemed straight out of a storybook, setting the stage for an unforgettable day.

There was even a visit from a (very frightened) little deer!

As Sam floated down the aisle in her stunning gown, John's heart skipped a beat (or ten). But the real stars of the show? Enter Scarlett, a flower girl extraordinaire, handing out flowers to their guests. Xavier followed closely behind with a mischievous glint in his eye, determined to get to his dad (and his Smarties).

I couldn’t believe we still had the kid’s attention at this point. Their vibrant personalities infused each photograph with a warmth and authenticity that spoke volumes about Sam and John's love and their journey ahead as a family.

Also a high shoutout to Ancaster Mill for this UNREAL menu. Everything was amazing.

There is nothing cooler than a sparkler exit and Sam and John had some of the best behaved party goers. They listened really well to instructions and we were able to nail these shots!
