WEDDING! Jenn + Shane [Niagara Parks Floral Showhouse]

From emotional family portraits with their twin boys at Oakes Garden Theatre to a lush garden ceremony inside the Niagara Parks Floral Showhouse and a cozy dinner celebration at Zappi's Pizza, Jenn and Shane’s wedding day felt equal parts romantic, intimate, and wildly joyful. Between the dreamy blue and pink florals, the greenhouse glow and the nonstop laughter from their hilarious twin boys, the entire day felt deeply personal in the best possible way.

GETTING READY - HYATT REGENCY NIAGARA FALLS

At the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Niagara Falls, Jenn and Shane got ready with one of the most unreal backdrops imaginable. Floor-to-ceiling windows looked straight out over the Falls, mist rising in the distance like it was part of the morning routine.

FAMILY PORTRAITS - Oakes Garden Theatre

Before the ceremony, we started the day with family portraits at Oakes Garden Theatre alongside their adorable twin boys who honestly stole the show more than once throughout the day. They were hilarious, full of personality, constantly making everyone laugh and brought such a fun energy into every moment. Some of the sweetest memories from the day came from the four of them together, just hanging out, laughing and soaking everything in before the ceremony began. Those portraits felt so genuine and full of life, which made them even more meaningful.

CEREMONY - Niagara Parks Floral Showhouse

Jenn and Shane’s wedding ceremony at the Niagara Parks Floral Showhouse felt like stepping into a secret garden tucked inside the heart of Niagara Falls. Surrounded by lush greenery, overflowing blue and pink hydrangeas, warm glasshouse light and the soft hum of water and flowers all around them, their day carried this effortlessly romantic atmosphere from beginning to end.

The Floral Showhouse is one of the most unique wedding venues in Niagara because it already feels alive before a single detail is added. Everywhere you turn there’s texture, colour, and natural beauty, which made the perfect backdrop for Jenn and Shane’s timeless celebration. The greenhouse light wrapped around them so softly during portraits and created the dreamiest setting for emotional, intimate moments throughout the day.

VENDOR TEAM

HAIR & MAKEUP

Hair and makeup were done by Beyoutiful Brides, and the entire bridal look suited the atmosphere of the day perfectly. Soft glam paired with timeless styling gave Jenn such an effortlessly beautiful bridal look that photographed incredibly in the natural greenhouse light.

OFFICIANT

Their ceremony was officiated by Cathy Davis & Company, whose warm and heartfelt approach made the ceremony feel incredibly intimate. There was such a calmness to the entire day. Nothing felt rushed. Jenn and Shane were so present with one another through every moment, and that energy carried through every photograph.

Jenn and Shane’s wedding was the kind of day that reminds you how meaningful wedding photography really is. Beyond the flowers and beautiful setting, it was about connection. Quiet moments. The way they looked at each other. The laughter from their boys echoing through the gardens. The stillness they created together in the middle of such a lush and vibrant space. Their wedding felt timeless in the truest sense.

We ended the night at Zappi's where the boys made their own pizzas, everyone raised a glass to the newlyweds, and the celebration settled into the kind of cozy, laughter-filled evening that felt perfectly true to them.

DINNER - Zappi’s Pizza

For couples searching for a Niagara Falls wedding photographer, greenhouse wedding inspiration, Floral Showhouse wedding ideas, botanical garden weddings in Ontario, or romantic wedding photography with an editorial feel, this day was such a beautiful example of how magical a garden wedding can truly be.

Why GTA Couples Are Choosing Niagara for Their Engagement Photos

Hey GTA Couples! Stop Sleeping on Niagara for Your Engagement Photos

Toronto is cute. We love her. She’s iconic.

But if you want engagement photos that feel romantic instead of rushed… you might want to get out of the city for a minute.

I photograph couples in Niagara Region, and I cannot stress this enough: the vibe shift when you leave the GTA is unreal.

No traffic noise in your ear.
No strangers walking through your shot.
No stiff “okay smile quick before someone steps in front of us.”

Just space. Light. And you two.

It’s Only About an Hour From Toronto

From the GTA, you’re looking at roughly an hour to an hour and a half drive depending on where you are. That’s basically nothing. That’s a podcast episode. That’s two Sabrina Carpenter songs on repeat and a stop at Black Sheep Coffee Roasters

You come down, we shoot somewhere dreamy, and then you make a whole day of it. Dinner. Wandering. Winery views. Cute little main streets.

It turns into a memory instead of just an appointment.

The Scenery Is Actually Wild

In Niagara, we can get:

  • Vineyard romance without flying to Italy

  • Soft waterfront sunsets

  • Moody forests

  • Dramatic waterfalls

  • Charming small-town streets

And the best part? It doesn’t look like everyone else’s engagement session in Liberty Village.

Your photos feel intentional. Different. Elevated.

But Let’s Be Real — It’s Not Just About the Location

You could stand in a parking lot and if your connection is strong, the photos will still hit.

My job is to make you feel comfortable enough to actually be yourselves. I guide you, I prompt you, I get you moving so nothing feels stiff or overly posed.

If you’re shy? I got you.
If you’re chaotic and obsessed with each other? Even better.

We’re not doing awkward prom poses. We’re doing real energy.

Make It a Whole Romantic Day

Here’s my favourite move for GTA couples:

Drive down in the afternoon.
Shoot around golden hour.
Go for dinner after.
Stay for sunset by the water.

Now your engagement photos are tied to a full memory not just “that time we stood in a park for 45 minutes.”

If you’re in Toronto and thinking you need city skyline vibes to make it official… consider this your gentle nudge.

Come to Niagara.
Let’s make something cinematic.
Let’s make something that feels like you.
